The ideal candidate will be inspiring and ambitious, upholding the Purple Bees Nursery brand and supporting their team. They must understand their key children’s culture and developmental levels and work with their line manager to identify the next steps of support.
Main Duties Include:
➡️Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures at Purple Bees Day Nursery, meeting relevant legislation.
➡️Handle complaints professionally, record and report to management, and assist in necessary actions.
➡️Contribute to Quality Improvement Visits and Inspections.
➡️Maintain room ratios and ensure accuracy of room registers and attendance records.
➡️Adhere to Health and Safety policies, completing risk assessments and hazard logs as outlined in the operational plan.
➡️Stay vigilant about safeguarding issues, prioritising the welfare and safety of children and adults, and reporting concerns to the DSL.
➡️Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and administer first aid and medication.
➡️Participate actively in staff meetings to support continuous improvement in practice standards.
➡️Contribute to the induction process for students and provide mentoring and guidance.

Loyalty Bonus:
The loyalty Bonus exists as a thank you and a reward for your dedication, hard work and loyalty. As this is a yearly “bonus” it will be dependent on your continuous self-improvement and ensuring no disciplinary action has occurred for that year.
Director’s Birthday Gift:
Extra Day off on or around your Birthday – the day off day will be dependant on adequate cover being available without the use of agency staff.
Extra Bonus Opportunity #1:
If you introduce a member of staff that we do not have to pay agency fee for, after that members 2nd month of employment is complete you will receive £200 as a referral fee.
Extra Bonus Opportunity #2:
If you introduce a new paying client to the nursery after that child has completed 2nd month with the nursery you will receive £200 as a referral fee.
