At Purple Bees, quality of care and learning will be to the highest standards at every stage of your child’s development. To reinforce this, 100% of our staff are qualified or working towards a qualification!
Our nursery is light and airy with an in-house kitchen producing freshly cooked nutritious food every day. We do not serve convenience or any deep-fried food.
We are confident you will appreciate our nursery, its setting and facilities! Should you wish to visit, we are available at any time to meet with you. Any comments or input from parents are always welcome.
Currently, due to the safety measures that we have in place for Covid, we may ask you to visit during on Saturday when the facilities are free of staff and children so you can explore the rooms and get a feel for our facility.

Dedicated Special Educational Needs Room
We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and inclusive environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. That's why we are proud to offer a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) room, designed to provide exceptional support and care for children with unique learning requirements.
Our experienced and compassionate staff are trained to understand and address the individual needs of each child. In the SEN room, we provide personalised attention to help your child reach their full potential.
The SEN room is equipped with a range of educational tools and resources to cater to various learning styles. Our goal is to create an engaging and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
Through our unique supportive environment and individualised attention, children develop increased self-confidence and a positive attitude towards learning and social interaction.
Our SEN room is more than just a space – it's a haven for growth, empowerment, and embracing diversity.
CCTV
At Purple Bees, CCTV is in full-time operation throughout the nursery. This added security is there for the protection of mind of children and peace of mind for staff and parents.
All recorded footage is stored and erased after a set period in accordance with our privacy policy. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to help.

Outdoor Play
At Purple Bees, we consider outdoor play to be an essential part of children’s learning and development. We believe that children need lots of variety of play and that they need to experience a range of different learning environments as part of their development.
Playing and leaving the room to run around outside will not only improve their physical health but will also stimulate their minds as they discover outdoor activities and experience the different seasons.
Sleep Room
We have a dedicated sleep room with soft lighting and natural wood cots.
This room has been designed to provide a calm and quiet restful environment for babies, allowing them to enjoy a comfortable nap without being disturbed by any external noise. Each child will have their own bed linen, which is regularly laundered in-house.
All of our sleeping babies are very closely monitored through our CCTV systems to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Staff will also regularly check in on the babies, in addition, we endeavour to adhere to your desired and established sleep routines at all times.

We Include French, Music & Spanish Lessons All For FREE!
Did you know that every week we have external teachers into the nursery. We have French on one week, followed by Music Masters the next week. Here's Clare talking about what she's been up to this week at Fairytales .
We're also very pleased to announce that we are now learning Spanish with Lydia, who is a member of the Fairytales team.
